Lodging

The following listings (rooms, hotels, etc), have been approved by Stephanie and Sunny Keach. The rooms to rent are usually only "rented" to yoga students coming in for Asheville Yoga Centers workshops or training programs. They are given away first come, so don't delay your booking. Please feel assured they are safe and clean, as are the hotel listings. We have deleted hotels that are not safe or clean so please use our list when booking. All the lodgings are 10 minutes away max. by car, many are just minutes walking distance to the center. In fact, everything in Asheville is only about 10 minutes away from anything else (except the airport is 20)

Camping

You'll do more driving if you camp as there isn't any in town. Confirm how far from down town Asheville these are before you register/decide.

Lake Powhatan 877-444-6777 open April 1-October 31. Large forested area, with lake, beach, mountain biking, hiking, part of Bent Creak Area. Car camping available. About 20 minutes away.

Mount Mitchell State Park (828) 675-4611

Crabtree Meadows
Crabtree Meadows marks the last stretch of the Parkway through the Blue Ridge Mountains. At approximately milepost 354, the road enters the Black Mountain Range, passes through the Great Craggies, and ends at the Atlantic-Gulf drainage divide.

Mt. Pisgah (828) 456 8829
Open through 27 October. Located at Milepost 408, Pisgah is the highest campground at almost 5,000 feet elevation. Formerly part of the Vanderbilt Estate and near the US Forest Service's Cradle of Forestry site. 45-60 minutes away.
